Sustainability Group RECYCLING

Sustainability Group Recycling:
Batteries, Cardboard, Mobile Phones, & Print Cartridges
Batteries
Pauline Burnaby-Davis has kindly offered to collect and recycle household batteries for the village. She has placed a container outside her front door for you to put spent batteries in (no car batteries!).
Cardboard
Cardboard recycling bins can now be found on the approach to Marten’s Field, opposite the Village Hall. This will be emptied fortnightly by Lewes District Council.
Mobile Phones
Brett Young has kindly offered to collect old mobile phones and chargers and take them with him on his trips to Africa, where they will be gratefully received and reused. Please place them in the box mounted by his gate.
Printer Cartridges
Lindy Smart has kindly offered to collect and recycle print cartridges for the village. She has placed a container outside her gate for you to put your used cartridges in.
All these small things will make a difference. We are grateful to all of them for their help to make sure things get reused, where possible, and help reduce car journeys and landfill.
Please try and use these facilities.
