The Rodmell Cricket Club has an exciting season of Home Fixtures planned. Eight competitive fixtures have been arranged by our newly-qualified Umpire, Mark Terry. Spencer Prosser has kindly agreed to continue in the dual roles of Captain and Chairman of Selectors.
We welcome new players of whatever skill level (frankly any skill level) and are looking for volunteers to help with teas, ground maintenance etc, etc.
We do hope to expand the social side of our village cricket and include villagers, friends and visitors in the less strenuous aspects of "the summer game".
Paul Mellor(487599) has been elected social secretary and - in the light of recent events - can now occasionally be found at home.
